Operation Desert Rose is a project of VetsForward. Operation Desert Rose is a coalition of veterans and military-connected individuals united in the defense of women’s rights. With discipline, honor, and a relentless spirit, we deploy our collective strength to safeguard and advance the freedoms and opportunities of women in every battlefield, whether in the halls of power or in our own communities.

On November 28, 2023, a group of bipartisan supporters from all over the state (including veterans) stood alongside Gov. Hobbs to sign a petition to put the constitutional right to an abortion on the November 2024 ballot.

We channel our military discipline, honor, and tenacity into advocacy, aiming to be the vanguard of women's rights and enact strategic change across society.

In response to the Arizona Supreme Court ruling to uphold the1864 Arizona Abortion Ban law, we will intensify our efforts, mobilize our community, and employ every tool at our disposal to challenge and overturn policies that infringe upon women's rights. Our actions, informed by discipline, honor, and a relentless spirit, will underscore the urgency of our cause and the depth of our commitment.
